Class 1 - October 17 What Is Mindfulness? / Introduction Class 2 - October 24 Be Right Where You Are / Connecting with Your Breath Class 3 - October 31 Awakening in Our Bodies / Awareness of Sensations Class 4 - November 7 Willingness to be With Things As They Are / Managing your Emotions Class 5 - November 14 Our Storytelling Minds / Observing Your Thoughts Led by Gaby Contreras ABOUT THE PROGRAM: This 5-class series is designed to guide you in incorporating Mindfulness into your life. It covers the four foundations of the practice —Breath, Body, Emotions & Thoughts— its scientific basis, daily applications, and practical exercises to train your mind to help you reduce your emotional reactivity and develop a greater capacity to respond wisely and intentionally to everyday challenges. This Training Includes: • 7.5 Hours of Teachings divided into five 1:30 hr. Classes. • Experiential Activities. • A PDF summary of the class. • Guided meditation audios to support you in your practice. • Additional resources. All are welcome regardless of experience, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds . PAYMENT DETAILS: Full Tuition: $ 250,00 Scholarship Level 1: $ 175,00 Scholarship Level 2: $ 125.00 Scholarship Level 3: $ 60.00 Small groups - Limited availability Sliding Scale: In keeping with the Buddhist tradition of keeping these teachings available to all, we're committed to making our programs accessible to anyone interested in practicing, regardless of their ability to pay. As such, we offer a wide sliding scale for our courses, with Scholarships offered on an honor system, with no application. In order to support as many people as possible, we ask that you pay at the highest level that is sustainable for you. Payment Plans: If you cannot afford to pay any of the sliding scale rates or prefer to pay your tuition in increments, please email us at least one week before your class's start date to propose a workable payment plan for you.
